Children enjoy computing and love having the chance to use different technology.
Children knew about online safety, what this meant and were able to give ways of staying safe online.
KS2 children could talk about their learning and explain some of the vocabulary they have explored.
KS2 children were able to use computing vocabulary to explain their learning from this half term.
EBI
KS1 were using devices more often.
Children were confident in talking about their computing unit and what skills and knowledge they have been learning, particularly in ks1.

Children being given the opportunities to share their learning in however they want using different software.
Children feel proud of their work because they have to persevere but complete it in the end and are given a chance to reflect on their work.
Children like having the opportunity to do things they have never done before e.g. Y6 said they loved being able to make their own website.
Children can all talk about how to stay safe online and feel confident with this.
EBI:
The children wanted more time to play on games to support their learning.
The children said they would like to be able to use PowerPoint and the Chromebooks to present more of their work, in computing and in other subjects.

Children said they enjoy using different technology such as iPads, Chromebooks and beebots.
They like that computing means they have to problem solve.
Computing is enjoyable because it is fun and you learn new things.
Computing allows us to be creative.
Children know that some of the skills they are taught prepares them for future jobs.
It is challenging and teaches us to persevere.
Children can share lots of different ways that they keep themselves safe online and why this is important.
EBI:
The children said there is a lot of vocabulary to learn so would like to have retrieval tasks focusing on the vocabulary they have learnt in computing.
